Teen Advisory Group Info Session and Taco Bar
The library is looking for teens and tweens (ages 12-18) who want to contribute to the library and their community by being a part of our Teen Advisory Group. A Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group who volunteers their time to help shape library services and events designed for teens. It is a great way to meet new friends and get some community service done while having fun.
We are hosting an informal info session at the library from 12 noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 10 to meet anyone who is interested and eat some tacos. That’s right, there will be a taco bar, so come hungry and full of great ideas! Read more about TAG at giblib.org/tag
If you made it to the September meeting, come on back for more – we’d love to use this time to plan a holiday event for teens! If you didn’t make it in September, that’s OK too – we want you to get involved in whatever way you can. Bring your friends and help make the library work for you 🙂
