Charter Day

Happy Birthday Gibsonville!
Gibsonville celebrates Charter Day on Feburary 18th – the day in 1871 that we officially became a Town.

February 18, 2021 is Gibsonville’s 150th birthday!
Gibsonville celebrates Charter Day on Feburary 18th – the day in 1871 that we officially became a Town.  This year, the library and parks and recreation department are honoring 150 years in socially-distanced ways.  Go on a town-wide hunt to help find all 150 gold nuggets – and turn them in to the community center for treats!  And stop by the library on February 18th for a grab and go 150th birthday goodie bag.  There might even be something to see on the town green in the days leading up to Charter Day.  Happy 150th, Gibsonville!
