We love volunteers – they help make the library a great community destination. If you are interested in helping out at the library, this is the place to learn more.
Specific volunteer positions
The library does have some specific volunteer roles to be filled by individuals with special skill sets. Interested in learning more? View our currently available volunteer positions at VolunteerMatch.
There are sometimes opportunities for students 12 and up to volunteer with the library. Teen volunteer projects involve planning and facilitating community events. Learn more about our teen volunteer projects:
What if I can’t volunteer regularly?
You can sign up to get an email whenever the library has a project that we need volunteers to help us complete. Sign up online here, or at http://tinyurl.com/gplvolunteer.
How does it work?
When we have a project that we need some extra help to complete, we will send out an email asking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping out, just respond and let us know. We will confirm with you or let you know if we have received more responses than we can use. If you aren’t available for a project, that’s fine — other volunteers may be able to help instead.
Questions?
If you have a specific question or need more information, send us a message at gibsonville.library@gmail.com
