Friends, Giving: Donate to the Community Pantry
Things are tough right now. Help us make things a little bit easier for folks in our community by donating nonperishable food items, basic toiletries, and baby supplies to the library’s Community Pantry. We have created a list of the items we hope to stock for our neighbors who need them.
During the month of November 2020, you’ll receive a free Gibsonville Mural mug when you donate to the Community Pantry (while supplies last).
Reaching those in need
Help us spread the word about our new Community Pantry – especially if you are aware of a family or individual in our community that might be struggling with job or income loss at this time.
Our pantry is open to anyone who needs it, there is no registration or qualification needed.
Materials Donations – **Limited to one box or bag at a time, please call in advance**
We are happy to accept donations of new or gently used books, DVDs, games and puzzles for children and adults. Donations of books that we already have or that are too old for us to use in our collection go into our used book sales.
We also appreciate donations of snacks and supplies for our community room.
Support our Book Sales – **Currently on hiatus**
The library maintains an ongoing book sale in our lobby area – most books are $1 or less and the proceeds stay right here in the library. We also sell books online through eBay. Check out our current offerings at gibsonvillelibrary.org/ebay
Gibsonville Rocks Shirts
These epic shirts are sold as a fundraiser for the library, but also to show the whole world what we think of our spectacular small town. Get your “Gibsonville Rocks” shirt at gibsonvillelibrary.org/shirts
Donating your time (Volunteering) – **Not currently interacting with volunteers**
We love volunteers – they help make the library a great community destination. If you are interested in helping out at the library, this is the place to learn more.
Any amount that you would like to donate to the library is appreciated and tax deductible*. Donate online at the link below, or in person with a card, check, or cash.
