PROJECT COZY


Project Cozy brings Gibsonville together to share warmth through donations of new hats, gloves, scarves, blankets and socks for our neighbors who need them most. ***Due to limited space, we are unable to collect donations at the library.***  Please take your donations to any of these locations:   
*Gibsonville Community Center  *Gibsonville Town Hall  *Gibsonville Fire Station   Items will be distributed at the library on Saturday, December 13 from 12-3pm. Visit giblib.org/cozy for more information.  When each of us gives a little, our whole town feels it. 



TUESDAY MORNING STORYTIMES AT 10:00 AM


Children birth – age 5 and their caregivers are invited to visit the library for storytime every Tuesday of the month! Share songs, stories, and activities with Mr. Wes. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room, so space is limited. No registration is required, walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.

HOMESCHOOL ACTIVITIES WEDNESDAY AT 11:00 AM


Homeschool activities are held every Wednesday at the  library at 11:00 AM. If your family is interested in homeschooling activities and/or homeschooling resources, you can find more information on the library website.

NEEDLEWORK SOCIAL THURSDAY DECEMBER 4th & 18th 3:30 – 5:00 PM


Want to learn to knit or crochet? Enjoy other forms of needlework? Come join the Needlework Social to get advice and share ideas with others who enjoy it as much as you do! All types of needle art are welcome! Open to all ages and skill levels. Limited supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own.



SATURDAY BOOK CLUB DECEMBER 6th 12:30 – 2:00 PM


Do you love to read and socialize? Then please consider joining our Book Club! The club meets the first Saturday of each month to discuss a different book. Our December read is WIshin’ and Hopin’ by Wally Lamb. Our January discussion will be The WIshing Game by Meg Shaffer. Copies of the books are available at the library.



DECEMBER HOLIDAY CLOSINGS


The Gibsonville Public Library will close at 5pm on Tuesday December 23 and reopen at 9am on Monday December 29,
and will be closed December 31 for staff development. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Solstice/Yule or whatever holiday you celebrate in December! We wish everyone safe and happy holidays!
