Virtual Community Conversation

When

10/26/2021
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Event Type

Let’s talk about the holes that were created or highlighted by COVID.
We’ve been through more than a year and a half of isolation, uncertainty, and change. The Gibsonville Library is hosting two community conversations to give Gibsonville residents a space to talk about what we’re missing, what worries us, and what unmet needs we still have. The anonymous results of these conversations will then be shared publicly, as well as directly with town hall and other local organizations like schools and churches.
Join us for an in-person, outdoor conversation at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 24th at the Moricle Park Pavilion, located at 601 Piedmont Ave. For those who would rather participate online, we will host a virtual conversation at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 26th. Visit giblib.org/ltc to log in. If you’d like to attend virtually but lack the technology at home, contact the library at 336-449-6455.

Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries is an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL).
