Miss Ashley will be reading “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on stage at 5:30 PM at the Lighting of the Green – come sit on the big stage to listen and say hello!

The Town of Gibsonville invites you for a night out in Gibsonville at the Annual “Lighting of the Green” on November 22nd from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.  Many of our downtown shops will be open and welcome you to visit.

There will be a multitude of activities for children of all ages, such as a hayride, a strolling magician, balloon twister and two bounce houses.   Warm beverages will be available for purchase through the Grinder Café.  “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” will be playing on an outdoor movie screen with “snow”.  If Christmas music is something you enjoy, be sure to join in with the strolling Christmas Carolers & the strolling Barbershop Quartet! You can also explore other fun activities throughout town.  Special guests include Santa & Mrs. Claus and Frosty to entertain the little ones!  There will also be a variety of musical entertainment on the Green.  Call Gibsonville Parks & Recreation Department for more information #336 449-7241.
