This week, Dr. Haleigh from Community First Chiropractic will be at the library from 5-6:30 PM on Thursday, May 30th to talk about the benefits of meditation and to guide us in a 5 minute meditation to help decrease stress and promote positive emotions. Stop by anytime between 5:00 and 6:30 to take a meditation break with us – no meditation experience needed.
Dr. Haleigh has been meditating for a few years now. She loves to share the benefits of meditation with others because it can help in so many aspects of your life. Some of the major benefits of meditation are decreased anxiety, reduced stress and it promotes emotional health just to name a few. Kids can also benefit from meditation because our kids these days are more stressed than they ever have been. Teaching them how to slow down and calm their minds is a great skill that they can use for the rest of their lives.
