Summer Reading      “Color Our World”         July 1-19   
Summer Reading continues! Stop by the library and participate in interactive displays and color-themed activities each week. If you wear the color of the week when you visit the library, you get to pick a special treat! Track your reading minutes to help fill our Reader Meter with every color of the rainbow! Grown-ups are invited to track their minutes & support the library by filling their meter with spare change.

Tuesday Morning Storytimes   10:00 AM
Children birth – age 5 and their caregivers are invited to visit the library for storytime every Tuesday of the month! Share songs, stories, and activities with Mr. Wes. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room, so space is limited. No registration is required,  walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.
Knitting/Crochet Club           Thursday July 3rd & 17th 3:30 – 5:00 PM                
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet Club to get advice and share ideas with others who love to knit/crochet as much as you do. All types of needle art welcome! Open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own.


Book Club Meeting             Saturday July 12th 12:30 – 2:30 PM
Do you love to read and socialize? Then please consider joining our Book Club! The club usually meets the first Saturday of each month to talk about a different book. This month will be the second Saturday as the library is closed July 5th. Our July discussion is Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. Our August read will be Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout. Copies of the books are available at the library.

Gibsonville Public Library Community Pantry                    
We are proud to serve all residents of the Gibsonville community! Along with library resources, we also provide supplies for local residents in need. Please consider making  a donation or organizing a food and supplies drive for our Community Pantry (and Fridge)! We need non-perishable food items, baby supplies and hygiene products. Lots of veggies this summer from your garden? Donate your extra produce to the Community Pantry!
