Public Computers
There are eight computers available for public use at the library, in addition to an Express Station for quick visits.  All public computers run Windows and have Microsoft Office available.  Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Each computer session lasts for one hour, but can be extended so long as there are computers available for other users.  There is no charge to use a public computer at the library.

Public WiFi
The library offers free WiFi in the library building.  The password for connecting to our WiFi is available from any staff member.  There are armchairs and worktables available for those who bring laptops to the library.  WiFi Printing is also available in the library, accessible from laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

We offer printing, copying, scanning, and fax service at the library.

Price per page:

Mobile WiFi Hotspots available for check-out

The library’s mission is “Connecting people to quality information, opportunities, the world, and each other to foster community, discovery, and compassion.”  One of the most important ways we connect with the world of information is online.  In order to help everyone in our community connect, learn, and succeed, we began circulating WiFi hotspots for check-out in October 2019.

Anyone with a Gibsonville Public Library card in good standing can reserve or check-out a hotspot, but those under 18 will need a parent’s signature and presence at the time of check-out.  Read our hotspot policies here, and preview the hotspot user guide and agreement form.

Laptops available for check-out

As of January 2020, the Gibsonville Public Library also offers laptops for check-out to the community.

As with hotspots, anyone with a Gibsonville Public Library card in good standing can reserve or check-out a laptop, but those under 18 will need a parent’s signature and presence at the time of check-out.  Read our laptop policies here, and preview the laptop user guide and agreement form.
