News & Announcements:

donate to the library

Doing a little spring cleaning?  The library is currently looking for donations of legos, homeschooling materials, and books on CD.  While we accept donations of gently-used books and movies year-round, we are specifically looking for these three types of items.  We hope to get enough homeschooling materials donated to start a Homeschool Collection in the library, just as we have recently started our Audiobook Collection – entirely made up of donated materials!  We plan to hold some fun lego-building events at the library this summer (and more in the future), and would appreciate any standard lego bricks to add to our supplies.

Find help with Job Applications, Homework and more online.  The library’s Pinterest page is full of helpful links to online resources like GED practice tests, training and tutorials for Microsoft Office programs, tips for job interviews, and educational websites for students.
We also pin our new books as they come in so you can make a visual reading list for yourself of all the hot new titles you’re looking forward to checking out.  Visit our pinterest page and follow us at  https://www.pinterest.com/gibsonvillepubl/.

We will also be participating in the “Alamance Reads” initiative alongside the Alamance County Public Libraries, so stay tuned for more details to come!

Look for library staff at the Gibsonville Market on the first Saturdays in June, July, and August, too.  Summer is just around the corner!
