Teen Craft    Thursday April 6  5:30pm
At our April Teen Craft event we will be making decoupage eggs and origami bunnies.
No registration required – walk-ins and first time visitors are welcome!
This event is intended for teens and young adults.

Book Swap   Saturday April 15  1:00pm
On Saturday April 15 at 1:00, you can bring up to three books to exchange (either fiction or narrative nonfiction) with other book lovers. We will play some fun games while helping you find the perfect book! This event is intended for adults.

Earth Day Clean Up at Murrell Park   Saturday April 22  1:00pm
The Library and Gibsonville’s Parks and Recreation department will be teaming for a park clean up at Edward G. Murrell Park – 315 10th St, Gibsonville (across from the community center).  Supplies will be available thanks to the library’s new “Clean Up Kits”, which will be available for check out starting April 24th!  The kits will include bags, gloves, a bucket, 5 litter grabbers, and 5 high visibility safety vests for your group to check out for your own clean up project.

El miércoles 26 de abril a las 5:30pm estaremos ofreciendo el próximo seminario de computadoras. El mismo es un adiestramiento de los conceptos básicos de correo electrónico y busca crear conocimiento de cómo abrir una cuenta de correo electrónico y cómo utilizar la misma de manera efectiva. ¡No pierda esta oportunidad el seminario es completamente libre de costos!

Dia Celebration   Saturday April 29   11am-2pm
Join us on Saturday April 29th from 11am to 2pm for our Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros celebration! Also known as Día, this celebration promotes childhood literacy. Storytime with local author Thania Orellana Bonilla will begin at 11am, and a fun scavenger hunt to familiarize your children with the library will be happening all day. We will have book prizes and refreshments by La Casa Dorada Mexican Restaurant and Ines Bakery in Gibsonville (available while they last).

También conocida como Día, esta celebración busca promover la lectura en los niños. Tuesday Morning Storytimes, 10:00 AM
Children birth – age 5 are invited (along with their caregivers) to visit the library for story time! Share songs, stories, and activities with Miss Ashley. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room, so space is limited. No registration is required for Tuesday morning storytimes – walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.

Anime Club     Saturday, Apr 1 at 12:00pm
All teens and adults interested in anime are welcome to join us on Saturday April 1st for our monthly Gibsonville Anime Club meeting. We will be watching the movie Weathering with You by Makoto Shinkai. We will have Japanese snacks and popcorn! The club will meet on the first Saturday of every month at noon.

Knitting/Crochet Club
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet club to get advice and share ideas with others who love knitting/crochet as much as you do! Open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own.  The Knitting Club will meet this month on Saturday, Apr 1 at 10am and Saturday, Apr 15 at 10am
