Saturday Movie Matinees start this month | Saturday, August 3 & 10 at 12:30 PM
The library will begin offering FREE Saturday Movie Matinees each month beginning in August 2019. We plan to alternate between newly released child/family-friendly movies and recent movies based on popular books. Our first Saturday Movie Matinee is Breakthrough – showing at 12:30 PM on August 3. This is the story of a woman who prays for her son to come back from the brink of death after he drowns in a lake. Want to read the book before you see the movie? Find it at the library. We have a bonus matinee in August, too! Come watch Missing Link (animated), at 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 10. Saturday Movie Matinees will be held regularly on the second Saturday of each month going forward! See what’s showing next at giblib.org/movies
