***The library will be closed on July 3rd & 4th.***
New Service Available – BookFix! For adults, teens and children.
What kinds of books do you want to read? Let us know and we’ll create a personalized BookFix batch just for you – we want to help you get your book fix! When you complete and submit the BookFix request form at giblib.org/bookfix, library staff will use your preferences to hand-select a batch of books for you. Library staff will also take requests over the phone at 336-449-6455.
When your BookFix batch has been selected- usually within 3 business days- staff will contact you to schedule a pickup time (either in person or via curbside service).
Summer Reading 2020 continues through July 25
Though it may look a bit different this year, Summer Reading is still designed to have something for everyone! Families can participate entirely online, by mail, or in person. Teens and adults can enter our writing contest for a chance at publication! We will not have group activities as we usually would, but we are providing Summer Reading Kits that include free books, activities, a reading log and more. Remember, Summer Reading is for all ages, birth through adults. Get more details and register to participate this summer at giblib.org/summer

Curbside service is still available
Library users who wish to take advantage of this service can request materials by phone (336-449-6455), email (mail@giblib.org), or online through the library’s catalog at giblib.org/books.
When placing a request, you will need to provide a phone number and a time for pickup. Library staff will gather your requested items, check them out on your account, and deliver them to the curbside pickup table at the confirmed time. We ask that library users maintain the recommended social distance while staff is present and wait in your vehicle or at least 6 feet away from the curbside table.
Help Mask Gibsonville
Looking for a way to help our community? Do you have extra fabric and time to donate?
With a new statewide mask requirement, many people are struggling to find face coverings so that they can go to appointments and shop safely. Library staff are making masks to provide to community members who need them, and would be happy to accept mask donations for those in need, as well.
