NC Cardinal
Beginning January 9, 2023, Gibsonville Library cardholders will have access to materials from across the state! 216 public libraries in 62 NC counties participate in the NC Cardinal system, expanding items available to you from about 13,000 to 7.7 million! Maker Fest Gibsonville       Friday, Jan 27th

Be a part of Gibsonville’s first Maker Fest! On Friday January 27th, the Gibsonville Community Center will host an exhibit hall full of interactive stations and displays, as well as a schedule of workshops, classes and presentations. Knitting/Crochet Club
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet club to get advice and share ideas with others who love knitting/crochet as much as you do! Open all ages and skill levels. Supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own.  The Knitting Club will meet this month on Saturday Jan 7 at 10am and Saturday Jan 21 at 10am.


STEAM activities, Tuesdays at 4:00 PM      giblib.org/steam
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities are designed for ages 6-12, and will usually take place in the library’s community room on Tuesdays at 4 PM.  No registration is required – walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.

Tuesday Morning Storytimes, 10:00 AM
Children birth – age 5 are invited (along with their caregivers) to visit the library for story time! Share songs, stories, and activities with Miss Ashley. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room, so space is limited. No registration is required for Tuesday morning storytimes – walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.


Anime Club     Saturday Jan 7 at 12:00pm
Love anime?  Come hang out at the library on January 7th to watch anime, have snacks, and discuss all things Japanese.  Gibsonville’s new Anime Club is for teens and young adults who love anime, cosplay, and learning about Japanese culture.  The club will meet on the first Saturday of every month at noon 


Community Couponing Workshop      Saturday Jan 14 12:30 – 1:30pm
Want to get into couponing but have no idea where to start? Join us January 14th at 12:30 to learn about the basics + tips and tricks the experts use!

Silent Book Club      Thursday Jan 19 5:30 – 7pm
What is a silent book club? It’s a very simple idea – Silent Book Club is about taking time out of your busy schedule to simply relax and read whatever you want to read, and you get to talk to other people about books (if you want to, or you can just keep reading).
