The Library plans to open its doors to the public on June 15, 2020.  Services will be limited to start, as will the number of visitors allowed in the library at one time.  Visitors will be expected to observe the three W‘s : Wear a mask, Wait 6 feet apart, and Wash hands frequently. The library will begin offering curbside service on Monday, May 18th. Library users who wish to take advantage of this service can request materials by phone (336-449-6455), email (mail@giblib.org), or online through the library’s catalog  at giblib.org/books. Curbside pickup will be available from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday-Thursday and Saturday, and 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday-Thursday.  Library staff will also be available to take requests by phone during these times.
