Sign up online at to secure a spot with Dolly.
Books & Barks is intended to give readers of all ages a chance to read aloud with a special, non-judgmental friend. Some who may benefit from this program include reluctant readers, struggling readers, shy readers, and anyone who might enjoy spending a little reading time with a special friend.

Game Nights | Mondays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Join us every Monday night for Game Night at the library.  We will have an array of tabletop games, video games, and other activities available in the library’s meeting room.  We are looking for donations to help these Game Nights grow!  If you have board games, card games, or video games you’d like to donate, just bring them by!  We are especially looking for multiplayer or “party” games to encourage group interactions.  We currently have a Wii and XBOX console to game on, and would love to be able to hold MarioKart or SmashBrothers tournaments — or something similar– in the future. See you at the next Game Night!

Teen Advisory Group Info Session and Taco Bar
The library is looking for teens and tweens (ages 12-18) who want to contribute to the library and their community by being a part of our Teen Advisory Group. A Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group who volunteers their time to help shape library services and events designed for teens.  It is a great way to meet new friends and get some community service done while having fun.

We are hosting an informal info session at the library from 12 noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 10 to meet anyone who is interested and eat some tacos.  That’s right, there will be a taco bar, so come hungry and full of great ideas!  Read more about TAG at
Saturday Movie Matinee – Saturday, November 24, 1:00 PM
FREE showing of “Darkest Minds” in the library’s meeting room the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  By then you’ll have had plenty of family time over the holiday, and spent too much money on Black Friday.  So come watch a movie with us for free!

This movie is based on a book series, so you can download or stream the ebook from Hoopla, then come watch the movie at the library! Bring friends and snacks 🙂The Darkest Minds is rated PG-13

Food for Fines: November-December
Our local food pantries need our help during the holiday season. Bring in a can or dry good to donate and we’ll waive up to $3 in late fees. Donate 3 or more cans or boxes to “clean your plate” and get all late fees waived, no limits.
Food drive items cannot be applied toward fees for lost or damaged library materials.
